Fleet Week San Francisco 2008 - October 9-14

San Francisco & Sausalito Segway Tours welcomes Fleet Week

We will be operating our Segway tours during fleet week. The routes of the San Francisco tours will be impacted by traffic, crowds and street / parking lot closures. We promise although it may take a while to get around - a good time will be had by all of our guests during this exciting event.

If you are touring with us please add additional time to arrive for your tour. All garages and street parking are full during the Saturday & Sunday of Fleet Week. We recommend public transit to the Wharf. The F-Line Historic Street Cars and both MUNI Cable Cars lines all transport visitors to the Wharf.

2008 Fleet Week Schedule:

Noon-5pm Blue Angels (Survey Flights)

1pm-3pm Air Show Practice

3pm-4pm Blue Angels

11:30am-12:30pm Parade of Fleet Week Ships

UPDATE: Regretfully, due to water conditions, the U.S. Navy vessels - USS Bohomme Richard and USS Pickney have been delayed. The ships are scheduled to arrive in San Francisco early Sunday morning. Therefore, the Parade of Ships that was scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, October 11, 2008 has been cancelled. Ship tours are expected to be open to the public starting Sunday afternoon. The Blue Angels Air Shows are not affected by the ship delays.
